A court here on Monday placed BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on a three-day fresh remand in connection with a case filed under the Explosive Substance Act.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Maruf Hossain passed the order rejecting the bail prayer Rizvi’s counsel Sanaullah Miah.
Mohammad Bashir Ahmed, sub-inspector of DB police and also the investigation officer of the case produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand on expiry of his five-day remand in Jatrabari arson case.
