Additional law enforcers’ deployed in front of BNP Chief Khaleda’s residence ahead of Dec 29 rally

Additional law enforcers have been deployed in front of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s residence at Gulshan area in the capital on Wednesday morning.

Police say the deployment of additional one platoon of police personnel was solely to strengthen the security of the leader of the opposition.

The beefed up police presence in front of the former prime minister’s home comes after she called on the people of the country to march to Dhaka on December 29th.

The opposition has dubbed the program ‘March for Democracy’.
