The Debate – Bangladesh Standoff

What we are witnessing on the ground in Bangladesh today is rooted several decades ago when Bangladesh originally gained its independence from Pakistan in 1971. There were many who are now called Bangladeshis, who were against getting independence from Pakistan to begin with. Now the opposition is asking the government to step down, and has called a strike, as clashes have taken the lives of several Bangladeshis. Stay with us as we take a close up look at the situation in Bangladesh on this The Debate.
