Tabith alleges police bar him from entering mosque

Bangladesh Nationalist Party-backed mayoral candidate to Dhaka north city corporation Tabith Awal alleged police barred him from entering Rahim Metal Mosque in Tejgaon to say Jumma prayers as the state minister for home affairs would say prayers there. Tabith told newsmen that he was was supposed to say juma prayers in Rahim Metal Jame Masjid after campaigning in Mohakhali’s health directorate and Nabisco areas. He said police bared him to enter the mosque saying that said the state minister for home affairs would come there and he should go to another mosque’ Tabith later prayed at a mosque in Nakhalpara.
