Quader Mollah buried at village home in Faridpur

The executed Jamaat-E-Islami leader Abdul Quader Mollah was buried at his village home in Faridpur’s Sadarpur Upazila around 4.15am on early Friday.

Around 3.20am an ambulance carrying the body escorted by law enforcers reached Amirababad village.

Deceased younger Mainuddin Mollah received the body in presence of the executive magistrate Shibly Noman and Sadarpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lokman Hossain.

During the dead body reception additional superintendent of police Bijoy Bashak and a number of relatives of Mollah were present.

The imam of Tepakhola village Jaame Mosque Mowlana Abu Taleb conducted the namaz-e-janaza at his home yard. Hundreds of villagers attended the janaza.

Around 4:15am, Mollah was buried beside the grave of his parents.

Earlier Mollah was executed at 10.01 pm on Thursday night at Dhaka Central Jail.
