Opposition leader delivers speech outside her home
The main Opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Khaleda Zia says that the program March for Democracy will continue on Monday. Terming the ruling government as undemocratic and repressive the opposition leader also urged to the peoples of the country to protest the repression and participate in the ongoing movement against the government. She also said that the ruling party conducted massacre across the country and tortured the opposition leaders and activists. Besides that the democracy in the country destroyed by the ruling government. Addressing the law enforcers and journalists the BNP leader said for the sake of the country and democracy everyone should play his/her respective role. On Sunday afternoon Khaleda Zia told these in front of her residence in capital’s Gulshan area. She went back from the residence gate since she was not allowed going out by the law enforcers. Earlier the BNP leader came out from her residence to start for Nayapalton to address the schedule program in front of party office. Huge number of law enforcers made barricade in front of Khaleda Zia’s residence from the early morning today to foil the schedule program ‘March for Democracy’.
