Govt and it’s supporting groups are seeking to hinder the April 6 Long March called by Islamic groups in Bangladesh, reports Daily Amar Desh. This has included pro-govt groups calling for a hartal to coincide with the long march. Their activists are reportedly seeking to stay on the street to hinder long march activists arriving from around the country into the capital. Police have also arrested people who have arrived to join the march. Hefazat Islam leaders have warned that such tactics will not hinder their movement.
