DMP goes digital with Android app


Many users describe the DMP act as a great work for citizens shortly after its release

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has developed an android application for the capital’s city dwellers, with a view of making police services more accessible.

The app went to public on Monday. It is available at Google app store.

The application includes many features, such as identifying the nearest police station, calling the nearest police station’s OC or duty officer, locating police stations, getting direction to the police station on emergency, getting detailed information about various services of the DMP, and informing the police about any incident.

Many users described the DMP act as a great work for citizens shortly after its release.
