With less than a week left for the end of the current government rule, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni will undertake an official bilateral visit to China.
A press release issued from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the trip will be from October 20-22.
The rule of the incumbent government expires on October 24.
She is expected to hold bilateral meetings with her Chinese counterpart and other senior leaders of the country.
The trip is said to have been undertaken upon an invitation from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Dipu Moni will also present a keynote paper on “Banlgadesh’s Role in the South Asia” during the visit.
