Another unidentified young man was found dead from a bullet wound in the capital’s Rupnagar area on Friday. Police recovered the body, aged around 30, in yellow T-shirt and blue jeans, at Beribadh area under Rupnagar. The body was kept at the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital as no one has identified him as yet. On information from locals, Rupnagar police sub-inspector Monirul Islam recovered the bullet-hit body around 11:30am. DMCH morgue officials said the young man carried at least seven bullet shots on his back and chest. At least four people, including two opposition activists, were shot dead by Rapid Action Battalion and Detective Branch of Police in the capital in last two weeks, where their identities were not confirmed primarily. Later on, it was found they were reportedly either picked up days ago before dying in ‘shootouts’ during raids, or were missing for more than month.
