Four Bangladeshi members of an UN peacekeeping mission were seriously injured in an explosion in Mali on Sunday.
The explosion occurred at 6:30 pm (local time) at Tabankort in Mali when a patrol team of Bangladesh infantry unit was guarding the area, leaving three officers and a soldier seriously injured, said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release on Monday.
The injured were identified as Major Ashraf (AMC), Major Shahriar (signal core), Major Tushit Barua (armed core) and soldier Shariful (infantry).
The injured army personnel were admitted to a French hospital in Mali, the release added.
